VIDOME is a tool. We do not host a public gallery, and we do not publish anything on your behalf — what you make is yours and stays private unless you share it yourself.

Everyone who uploads confirms they have the rights to the audio. When that turns out not to be true, we act on properly submitted notices.

Send a notice to copyright@vidome.app including all of the following:

• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• Identification of the material on our service, with enough detail for us to find it — a URL, a project link, or a shared render link.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We aim to review complete notices within two business days. If a notice is valid we remove or disable access to the material and notify the account holder with a copy of the notice.

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake — for example you hold a licence, or the use is fair dealing or fair use — send a counter-notice to the same address with:

• Identification of the material and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or — if your address is outside the United States — any judicial district in which Vidome may be found.
• A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or from their agent.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not begin legal proceedings within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material.

Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices are terminated. We keep a record of notices for this purpose.

Making a lyric video for a song you did not write is not automatically infringement — licensed covers, works you have permission to use, and public-domain material are all legitimate. But a licence to record a cover is not automatically a licence to synchronise it to video. If you intend to publish, check that you hold the right kind of licence.
